The elderly have a hard time keeping up with rapid technology changes. They may become confused with too many options, too many web sites, and in understanding what is safe for them to look at. As computers and tablets get more advanced, and screen resolutions get higher, the text gets smaller and harder to read. DadPad gives an older user a simple interface, big text, and the security of knowing that the content they see comes from their loved ones – your family.

DadPad takes the confusion out of using the Internet for our elderly family members. You simply select content from the thousands of possibilities in our library (or add your own), click and drag to add that content to the iPad, and within 1 minute your content shows up for your user on their iPad!

Think about it. Grandpa doesnt have to try to use a search engine. Mom doesnt have to worry about HOW to use a different web site. We find content and add it to our library, we keep a consistent interface on the iPad, and you decide exactly what they can see. Think of it as Custom Internet for your loved one!

One exciting feature of DadPad is Quick Notes. Quick notes allow your iPad use to carry information with them that is available without an internet connection. As an example, if your Dad wants to send you a birthday present, you send a Quick Note with your address, and your Dad can carry the iPad to the post office, tap that Quick Note, and ask the postal worker to send the present to the address displayed. No need to try to write it down, just get on the web and send it!

DadPad Customer Web is available from anywhere, at any time. You can add Quick Notes, manage content, etc. from wherever you are. And, you can add an unlimited number of administrators to help you manage the content in case you are unavailable.

If the iPad ever gets lost, you can turn DadPad off with a single click from the DadPad Customer Web. When you do that, the DadPad app will display your name and phone number, or the name and phone number of and person that is helping you to administer the system. That way, the lost iPad can become a found iPad!

As older eyes start having more difficulties seeing, you can switch from our standard interface (White on Blue) to either White on Black or Black on White for higher contrast. You do that from the DadPad Customer Web, so you dont even have to touch the iPad to make this change.

Curated content. A huge and growing library of things to do. Safety if the iPad is lost. Modify the interface remotely.
